Terms of service
In general
Shopping with us is simple and convenient. You select a product and size, add to cart and select a payment method. Then the order is processed. Following payment, you will receive a receipt for the purchase by e-mail, and with that a contract has been concluded. If a product is sold out, you will be contacted as soon as possible and offered another product or a refund. We reserve the right not to process orders, e.g. if a product is incorrectly priced or sold out, and to change prices and product availability.

Price
All prices in the online store are in Icelandic króna with value added tax and published subject to typing errors. Prices in the online store can change without notice, e.g. due to incorrect price information or incorrect registration.
Payment options
It is possible to pay with payment cards from Visa, Amex, Mastercard. Payments go through Straumur (https://www.straumur.is/). You can also transfer to a bank account.
Delivery of goods
All orders are processed the same day if the order is received before 14:00 on weekdays. If an order is placed after that time, on a weekend or holiday, the order will be processed on the next working day.
If the product is to be sent abroad, the buyer pays the shipping costs. Customs clearance of the product abroad is the buyer's responsibility.
On offer days, sales or outlets, delivery to the post office or to your door is not free.
Return or exchange of product
Our online customers have 14 days from the time the contract is concluded to cancel the purchase of a non-defective product, provided that they have not used the product, the product is intact, in the original packaging, price tags are attached and the below information is sent to the email address ivaduett@ivaduett.com:
1. Name.
2. Address so that the product is delivered correctly.
3. Email address and telephone.
4. Receipt of payment that came with the original purchase.
5. Reason for return.
6. Request for refund/other product.
7. Request for delivery method (if applicable).
8. If payment was made with an Netgíró, it must be noted; sending a social security number and also a claim number is necessary so that it can be reimbursed.
If more information is needed, the seller will contact the buyer.
Returning Christmas gifts is until December 31.
The product is refunded in full at the first opportunity and always within 14 days of its return if the above conditions are met. If the buyer wants to exchange the product for another product that is in stock, it is also possible to request a new shipment. The cost of returning and resending a product due to the exchange of a non-defective product is the customer's responsibility and expense. If the customer returns a product without paying for the shipping cost, it will be deducted from the purchased amount. If the product turns out to be defective, the buyer must notify the seller of the defect. After the seller has confirmed that there is a defect, the buyer receives a new product. If a product is not available, the buyer will receive a refund or another product instead.
The buyer must register the package with the Post Office so that it does not get lost. If a non registered package is lost that was sent back, it is the buyer's responsibility.
Products purchased on sale/discount/outlet cannot be returned or exchanged.
Regarding the buyer's right to return in other respects and his right to return a defective product depends on the Act no. 16/2016, Act no. 50/2000 and, as the case may be, Act no. 48/2003 on consumer purchases.
Proprietary disclaimer
Sold goods are the property of the seller until the buyer has paid the purchase price in full.
Confidentiality
The seller promises the customer complete confidentiality regarding all information they provide in connection with the transaction. The handling of personal information during the transaction is governed by Act no. 90/2018 on personal protection and processing of personal information.
Legal provisions
These terms are governed by Act on Consumer Contracts no. 16/2016, Act no. 50/2000 as well as Act on Consumer Purchases no. 48/2003, as applicable.
Disagreement
If a dispute arises regarding the transaction that cannot be resolved by other means than the involvement of the courts, the case shall be brought before the District Court of Reykjavík.
Personal information we receive from you
When you order a product with Ivaduett´s online store, we only collect information that you register, such as your name, email address, address and telephone number. By ordering a product and registering information, you consent to such collection of information. The same applies if you register as a customer.
Your credit card information is only saved during the transaction and is approved in the system. Straumur stores your card details in its secure systems, but not on the payment page itself.
As soon as the order is confirmed and you receive the confirmation, all information about the card will be deleted from the system. Your card details are secure during the process. The same applies whether you are a registered user or not.

What about cookies?
"Cookies" are information that your web application stores on your computer at the request of servers. Ivaduett uses this information to know how often you visit the website, what you put in your basket, how your previous orders were and to introduce you to products that might interest you.
The cookies are designed to serve your needs and you should not worry about them.
Most browsers are set to automatically accept cookies, but they can be set to require the user to accept each case. Even if you choose not to allow cookies, you can still use most all parts of our website, including the shopping system.

If something isn’t right due to how it was made, we’ll make it right—free of charge.
What’s Not Covered:
While we wish we could protect against everything, our Lifetime Guarantee does not cover:
• Lost or stolen jewellery
• Damage from accidents, improper use, or unauthorized repairs
• General wear and tear over time (scratches, dullness, patina)
• Exposure to harsh chemicals or environments
To Keep Your Guarantee Active:
• Keep your proof of purchase (receipt or order number)
• Let us know about any issues as soon as they arise
How to Make a Claim:
1. Email us at ivaduett@ivaduett.is with your order number and photos of the issue.
2. We’ll review and respond within 5 business days.
3. If covered, we’ll repair or replace the item at no cost to you.
